Raspberry Pi has launched a larger 10.1-inch version of its Touch Display 2, joining the existing 5-inch and 7-inch models and targeting uses such as dashboards and entertainment system interfaces. The new screen offers a sharper resolution and greater touch sensitivity than its smaller siblings, but it only works with the Raspberry Pi 5 or Compute Modules, meaning owners of older boards will need to upgrade hardware to use it.

The 10.1-inch panel has a native portrait resolution of 1,200 x 1,920 pixels, 24-bit RGB colour, and supports ten simultaneous touch points, up from five on the smaller displays, with a touch response time of up to 35ms and 400 cd/m2 brightness. It costs $80 and requires the Pi 5's newer display connector, which uses four DSI data lanes rather than the two lanes on earlier Touch Displays, according to Raspberry Pi. Reviewers found setup straightforward via a supplied ribbon cable and mounting screws, though an EEPROM firmware update (February 2026 or later) was needed to get it working, and the display should be kept away from moisture.
