## Key points

- Baltimore added Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis before Thursday’s game.
- Jackson and Huntley were injured in Sunday’s loss to Buffalo.
- Fagnano is another option, though he has an ankle injury.

## Summary

The Baltimore Ravens have moved to add two quarterbacks before Thursday night’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after injuries disrupted their depth chart. Austin Reed joined the practice squad on Monday, and the team said on Tuesday that it was signing Kedon Slovis from the Green Bay Packers’ practice squad to its 53-man roster. Lamar Jackson injured his thumb and Tyler Huntley his toe during Sunday’s 36–10 defeat by the Buffalo Bills, leaving rookie Joe Fagnano to make his NFL regular-season debut.

Fagnano is also dealing with an ankle injury, so Baltimore has yet to settle who will be available to play on Thursday. Reed spent time with the Ravens during training camp and knows their offence, making him a possible back-up to Fagnano. Slovis has appeared in two NFL regular-season games, attempting two passes for Arizona last season, and faces a short period to learn Baltimore’s playbook. The additions give the Ravens more options, but the starting quarterback has not been confirmed.
