Razer has introduced the Clio X, a cheaper version of its head cushion speaker for gaming chairs, unveiled at PAX West 2026. Priced at $110, it costs less than half as much as the original Clio, which launched last year at $230, making immersive chair-based audio more accessible to gamers on a budget.

The Clio X fits any Razer gaming chair via an adjustable nylon strap and is powered through a 15W USB-C connection, such as a power bank. Unlike the flagship's 43mm aluminium cone drivers, it uses two 38mm loudspeakers and two 55mm passive radiators, paired with THX Spatial Audio to simulate 360-degree sound, and connects via Razer's low-latency HyperSpeed 2.4GHz wireless link. Razer advises using a PD2.0 power source and a power bank of at least 10,000mAh for optimal volume and battery life. The Clio X is now available through Razer's website and retail stores.
