Amazon Prime Video has released the first full trailer for “Neagley”, the forthcoming “Reacher” spin-off, revealing that its central murder investigation leads Frances Neagley towards a dangerous cult. The series expands the franchise by placing Neagley, a former military investigator and private detective, at the centre of her own case after a close friend dies in suspicious circumstances.
The eight-episode first season will premiere on 16 September. Maria Sten returns as Neagley, while Alan Ritchson guest stars as Jack Reacher; the supporting cast includes Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones, Matthew Del Negro and Damon Herriman. Based on characters created by Lee Child, the programme is co-created by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton and produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios.
