Jeana Keough, one of the original stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County, has been diagnosed with tongue cancer at 70, her daughter Kara Bosworth revealed. Bosworth shared the news via a GoFundMe campaign to help cover treatment costs, explaining that what began as a minor dental complaint escalated into a serious illness after a biopsy confirmed cancer, which was later found to have spread to her lymph nodes.

Keough is now in her fifth week of chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy, with Bosworth describing her as exhausted and increasingly malnourished due to pain that makes eating and drinking difficult. Unable to work during treatment, Keough faces significant financial strain, and the fundraiser had reached over $15,000 of its $22,000 target at the time of reporting. Keough appeared on the original five seasons of the Bravo reality show, which premiered in 2006, and recently featured in the franchise's 20th-anniversary special, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
