KJ Biermann, the 15-year-old son of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann, has been indicted by a Fulton County, Georgia grand jury on seven counts including child molestation, aggravated sodomy, sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment. The case stems from an alleged incident in April and follows his arrest last month in Alpharetta, Georgia. As he is being prosecuted as an adult under Georgia's SB440 law, which allows adult superior courts to try teenagers aged 13 to 17 accused of certain violent felonies, the case carries significantly greater legal consequences than if he were tried in juvenile court.

KJ, whose full name is Kroy Jagger, is currently held without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center ahead of a preliminary hearing in September. Zolciak has strongly denied the allegations, stating her son passed a polygraph test and that no DNA evidence linked him to the accuser, while also suggesting the accuser had made similar claims against two other people. KJ is the eldest of Zolciak and Biermann's four biological children; the couple, who also adopted Zolciak's two daughters from a previous relationship, divorced in 2023 after 11 years of marriage.
