Prime Video will add the 2014 action-fantasy film Hercules, starring Dwayne Johnson and featuring Rebecca Ferguson, to its streaming catalogue in August 2026. Its arrival comes amid renewed audience interest in screen adaptations of Greek mythology, following the success of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and increased viewing of related films and series.

Hercules also stars Ian McShane, Aksel Hennie, Rufus Sewell and John Hurt. The film earned just under $250 million worldwide against a reported $100 million budget, making it a moderate box-office success despite receiving less recent streaming attention than other myth-inspired titles.
