Report: Dua Lipa, Tame Impala, Fred again.. In Talks for Coachella 2027

Coachella organisers appear to be lining up a starry 2027 headline bill, with Tame Impala, Dua Lipa and Fred again.. reportedly in talks to top the bill, according to industry outlet Hits Daily Double. The report suggests Tame Impala and Dua Lipa would take the two main headline slots, while Fred again.. would fill the "Returning to the Desert" position lower on the poster. If confirmed, this would mark a significant milestone for Dua Lipa, who has never previously played the festival, while cementing Tame Impala and Fred again.. as Coachella regulars.

Should the rumours hold, it would be Tame Impala's fifth Coachella appearance, following prior headline and support slots in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2019, while Fred again.. previously filled in as a headliner in 2023 alongside Four Tet and Skrillex after Frank Ocean's withdrawal. Dua Lipa's last album will be three years old by the time of the festival, suggesting she could debut new material at the event. A fourth headline slot remains unconfirmed, with BTS, SZA, Oasis and Radiohead named as contenders and SZA reportedly the frontrunner; Miley Cyrus is said to have turned down an offer. Coachella 2027 is scheduled for 9–11 and 16–18 April at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, though an official lineup announcement date has not yet been set.
