Revealed: Partner of chemistry teacher who had sex more than 30 times with one of her pupils – and kissed another ‘threatened and racially abused detective on her case’
A former chemistry teacher, Sally-Anne Bowen, 65, has been convicted of sexual offences involving two former pupils she taught in north London in the late 1980s. Her partner, Darren Scotchbrook, separately faces allegations that he threatened and racially abused the detective leading the investigation, although those claims have not yet been tried.
A court heard that Bowen had sex with one 14-year-old pupil up to 30 times over several months, while a second pupil said she kissed him and allowed sexual touching when he was 15. Bowen denied the allegations and is now facing sentencing, while Scotchbrook is due to appear in court next month on harassment-related charges, with a trial expected later this year or in early 2027.
