Rhys Langston Announces New Album to live and die in E.U.L.A.: Hear Two Songs

Stereogum · 2 hours ago

LA-based underground rapper Rhys Langston has announced a new album, "to live and die in E.U.L.A.", accompanied by two newly released songs. Langston, a Stereogum Artist To Watch in 2022, has remained prolific since then, releasing the album "Pale Black Negative" last year and collaborating with R.A.P. Ferreira and nahhphet on "Sound Of Horns" earlier this summer.

The two new tracks, "my grandmother's pecan tree" and "it's the fadeout…", were shared on Langston's Bandcamp and both feature production from up-and-coming producer pty; "my grandmother's pecan tree" also features fellow LA rapper Kwame Adu. Few other details about the album have been revealed, including what the acronym E.U.L.A. stands for, though Langston has noted the title nods to a William Friedkin film.
