Ridley Scott’s Biblical Epic Finds a New Streaming Home
Ridley Scott's 2014 biblical epic *Exodus: Gods and Kings*, starring Christian Bale, has become available to stream on Peacock. The move comes as Christopher Nolan's own mythological epic, *The Odyssey*, continues its cinema run, giving audiences a chance to watch the two directors' takes on ancient legend as companion pieces.
Scott and Nolan have long been viewed as Hollywood's leading exponents of large-scale historical and sci-fi filmmaking, with Nolan having cited Scott's work as an influence and drawn on Homer's Odyssey for earlier films including *Interstellar*, *The Dark Knight Rises* and *Oppenheimer*. *Exodus: Gods and Kings* followed Scott's run of large-scale epics such as *Kingdom of Heaven* and *Robin Hood*, and starred Bale, a frequent Nolan collaborator, retelling the biblical story of Moses.
