Riley Green Says His Busy Schedule Is Taking a Toll on What Matters Most to Him
Riley Green says his growing workload is taking time away from songwriting, which he calls the most important part of his music career. He is grateful for the opportunities but is trying to recognise the strain of balancing touring, television and promotion.
Green described working every day for about two months, flying to Los Angeles to film The Voice from Sunday to Wednesday before travelling to weekend shows and returning. He said being spread too thin affects the music: he often starts songs or notes titles, lyrics and voice memos on his phone, but wants more time to develop them.
