Graeme Thomas King has been promoted from a recurring role to series regular for the second season of MGM+'s action drama "Robin Hood", playing Prince John. The move signals that the character's scheming and shifting loyalties will play a larger part in the show's unfolding royal power struggle, as the series widens its scope beyond its original Sherwood setting.

Season 2 will take the story into the courts of England, France and Rome, following Rob and Marian as they navigate the politics of kings and queens amid the fracturing Angevin empire. The cast includes Jack Patten, Lauren McQueen, Sean Bean, Lydia Peckham, Steven Waddington and Connie Nielsen, with the show produced by Lionsgate Television and set to air on MGM+ across the US, UK and several other territories. King is also known for "Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists" and the "Knuckles" spin-off series.
