RoboCop Officially Returns With New December 2026 Release
RoboCop fans have a new way to celebrate the franchise ahead of its long-awaited television revival, with Sideshow Collectibles unveiling a life-size replica helmet based on the character's classic 1980s look. The collectible arrives as Prime Video continues early development on a new RoboCop series, giving enthusiasts something tangible to enjoy while that project remains without a confirmed cast or release date. It underscores the enduring popularity of the franchise, which began with Peter Weller's original 1987 film and has continued through sequels, TV spin-offs and a 2014 reboot starring Joel Kinnaman.
The helmet is modelled on Peter Weller's Alex Murphy design rather than the sleeker version from the 2014 remake, and is described by Sideshow as crafted from premium fibreglass with real lenses and movie-accurate detailing. It is now available for pre-order and comes with a display base, with shipping expected between October and December 2026. Prime Video's RoboCop series, meanwhile, is unlikely to launch before late 2026 or early 2027.
