The 81-year-old singer had been due to perform at the Riverbend Music Center on 9 August 2026 as part of his "One Last Time" North American tour, but the show was called off just hours before doors opened. It marks the latest in a series of health-related disruptions to the veteran star's farewell tour this year, raising questions over his ability to complete the remaining dates.

Organisers confirmed that rescheduling was underway, with further details promised, and said all previously purchased tickets would be honoured for the new date. Stewart is next due to perform in Cleveland, Ohio, before further US shows this month and into September, including his residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The postponement follows an incident earlier this summer in Utah, when he needed an oxygen tank on stage after nearly fainting, and a separate cancelled show in California due to an upper respiratory infection and laryngitis.
