Troy, the 2004 Wolfgang Petersen epic starring Brad Pitt, is set to leave Peacock in the United States in September 2026. The film had seen a resurgence in streaming interest following the huge box-office success of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, to which it serves as something of an unofficial companion piece, being loosely based on Homer's Iliad rather than the Odyssey itself.

Troy starred Brad Pitt as Achilles and Sean Bean as Odysseus, a role later taken by Matt Damon in Nolan's film. Notably, Nolan himself was once attached to direct this earlier Greek epic before dropping out when Petersen returned to the project, after which Nolan went on to make Batman Begins instead; The Odyssey has since grossed close to $1.5 billion worldwide since its release last month.
