Roku has increased prices across its streaming-hardware range, with some devices rising by as much as $50. The company says the change reflects shortages and rising costs for memory and other components linked to demand from the AI sector, showing that even lower-memory streaming devices are being affected.

Its flagship Roku Ultra now costs $150, up from $100, while the entry-level Roku Streaming Stick has risen from $30 to $40. Roku’s website is currently presenting the former prices as sale prices; the increases contrast with comments from chief executive Anthony J. Wood, who had suggested Roku’s lower component requirements would leave it less exposed than rivals.
