RØRY Unveils Urgent Single ‘SWALLOW’
RØRY has released ‘SWALLOW’, a new single from her forthcoming album ‘BLOODLETTING’, due on 11 September through her SADCØRE Records label. The dark, pop-driven track addresses profound grief, sorrow and the feeling of being trapped between continuing to live and longing to be close to someone who has died.
RØRY said the song reflects a state of suspension between life and death, rather than a wish to die. Its music video, scheduled for release at 8pm GMT, depicts suffocation and drowning to convey grief physically; she said the filming was so intense that she fainted on set. The album is also being promoted through a Rock Sound cover feature and limited-edition merchandise.
