Roxy Music announce huge ‘For Your Pleasure’ expanded reissue and share unreleased ‘Grey Lagoons’ 1971 demo
Roxy Music have announced an expanded 2026 reissue of their 1973 second album, ‘For Your Pleasure’, alongside the release of the previously unheard 1971 demo ‘Grey Lagoons’. The project offers a detailed look at the band’s writing and recording process, including early material by Bryan Ferry, and is intended to mark more than 50 years since the album’s creation.
The Super Deluxe Edition will include the original album plus demos, rehearsals, studio outtakes, live sessions and rare performance footage. Among the newly released archive recordings are cassettes Ferry made while writing in a Derbyshire cottage and in his London flat; ‘Grey Lagoons’ was originally titled ‘The Bogus Man Part 2’.
