The programme, featuring prominent figures such as Michael Gove and former UK ambassador to the US Kim Darroch, appears to have provoked a sharp response from the Kremlin, which warned of serious consequences for any British or NATO military action against Russian territory.

The fictional scenario involves the simulation of attacks on Murmansk, home to Russia's Northern Fleet, and Kaliningrad, a Russian semi-exclave between Poland and Lithuania that Moscow has positioned as a potential nuclear launch site. In response to the show's apparent focus on Kaliningrad as a strategic vulnerability, Lithuania and Poland are developing comprehensive evacuation plans for civilians in the region, particularly along the Suwalki Gap—a 60-mile corridor NATO considers its "Achilles heel." Lithuania is currently conducting nationwide drills involving approximately 3,000 officials and 1,000 volunteers through October 2nd, with Polish officials participating in exercises testing border procedures and civilian evacuation protocols.
