Samuel L. Jackson stars opposite Eva Green in Just Play Dead, a crime thriller released in select cinemas on 28 August. The film centres on competing deception and murder plots around a faked death and a large insurance claim, and is directed by Martin Campbell, known for Casino Royale.

Jackson plays wealthy criminal Jack Wolfe, who plans to fake his death, secure a $30 million insurance payout and frame his wife Nora’s lover. Nora instead intends to kill Jack and keep the money, but Jack sets a trap to turn the pair against each other; the cast also includes Eoin Macken, María Pedraza and Jason Fernández.
