- Tom Hanks returned for SNL’s Halloween episode.

## Summary

Saturday Night Live used its Halloween episode to parody Donald Trump, interrupting Tom Hanks’s return as David Pumpkins with James Austin Johnson’s Trump character. The sketch drew on Trump’s recent remarks about Republican candidates’ physiques and campaign appearances, turning them into jokes about his supposed “gay dementia” and odd noises.

The character also joked about Trump’s bruised hand, the midterm polls and Nicki Minaj, before urging viewers to vote Republican. The article says Trump had recently praised Ohio Senator Jon Husted’s physique at campaign events, including describing himself as having studied Husted’s body; the sketch echoed those comments.
