Bengali streaming platform Hoichoi is marking its 10th anniversary with a slate of more than 25 new series, films and television titles, anchored by a Satyajit Ray biopic directed by Srijit Mukherji titled "Maharaja Tomare Selam." The announcement demonstrates the platform's continued investment in high-profile Bengali-language content, including new instalments in popular detective franchises featuring characters Feluda and Eken Babu, as well as the platform's first animated series. The slate represents a significant milestone for a streaming service that has grown substantially since its launch.

The expanded content library now encompasses over 600 Bengali films and more than 200 original series, available to audiences across India, Bangladesh and internationally. Notable titles in the new slate include "The Eken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra," a mystery film directed by Joydeep Mukherjee; "Jononi," starring Parambrata Chatterjee; and multiple new series covering genres from psychological thrillers to period dramas set in colonial Darjeeling. According to Hoichoi's chief operating officer, the platform's mission remains centred on establishing Bengali stories as a cultural touchstone, with content increasingly adapted into various formats and reaching audiences beyond Bengal and the Bengali language.
