- The league will consult clubs before announcing new match dates.

## Summary

The Saudi Pro League has postponed matchweek 13 of the 2026–27 season after the Asian Football Confederation moved the Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia from 7 January–5 February 2027 to 23 December 2027–21 January 2028. The league said the change gives it more room to review the domestic fixture calendar. The postponed matches had been scheduled for 5–7 November; replacement dates have not yet been announced.

The league plans to consult clubs before settling the revised schedule, with particular attention to the spacing of fixtures and players’ recovery time. The Asian Football Confederation attributed the tournament’s postponement to exceptional regional circumstances, including travel disruption and substantial logistical difficulties. Recent attacks on Saudi Arabia had also raised concerns about staging the competition as originally planned.
