The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) has revealed the lineup for the 10th edition of SCAD AnimationFest, running 23–25 September at SCAD Atlanta's SCADshow theatre. The programme will feature three days of premieres, sneak previews and industry panels, marking a milestone year with two new additions: SCAD's first Animated Shorts Competition and the festival becoming the new home for Variety's "10 Animators to Watch" franchise, which began in 2015.

Highlights include a 25th-anniversary tribute to "The Proud Family," honouring executive producers Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farquhar with the Animation Trailblazer Award, and a closing-night premiere of DreamWorks Animation's "Forgotten Island," with director Joel Crawford receiving the Variety Impact in Animation Award. The event will also include a sneak peek at Warner Bros' "The Cat in the Hat" featuring Bill Hader, screenings of "Toy Story 5" and "Avatar: Aang the Last Airbender" with a talk from director Lauren Montgomery, and panels involving executives from studios including Pixar, LAIKA, Marvel Animation and Disney Television Animation, alongside a strong focus on SCAD students and alumni.
