Scene Queen Announces New EP ‘METALICIOUS, Shares Brutal Title Track
Scene Queen has announced her new EP, ‘METALICIOUS’, set for release on 11 September via Hopeless Records, marking her first project since her debut album ‘Hot Singles In Your Area’. Alongside the announcement, she has shared the brutal title track, showcasing a heavier, more extreme sound than fans have heard from her before, including guest vocals from Left To Suffer’s Tayler Barber.
The seven-track EP includes previously released songs ‘Manicure’ and ‘Tracksuit’, alongside new cuts such as ‘Pink Flip Phone’, ‘Shopaholic’, ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ and ‘T!ts Out At Brunch’, closing with the newly shared title track. Scene Queen has described the record as blending chaotic pop and Y2K influences with her heaviest vocals to date, drawing comparisons to acts like Millionaires and Winds Of Plague, while the collaboration with Left To Suffer brings a guttural, deathcore-tinged edge to the closing track.
