Scotland and Northern Ireland have qualified for the 2027 Netball World Cup after finishing as the top two teams at a four-team qualifying tournament in East Kilbride. Their success means Wales and the Republic of Ireland will miss the finals, which will be held in Sydney, Australia.

Northern Ireland secured their place with a decisive 73-50 victory over the Republic of Ireland on Sunday. Scotland’s qualification was then confirmed unless Wales could win their final match by an exceptionally large margin; the World Cup will take place from 25 August to 5 September 2027.
