‘Scrubs’ Adds Keyla Monterroso Mejia As New Nurse In Season 2 Of ABC Reboot
Keyla Monterroso Mejia has joined the second season of ABC’s Scrubs revival as recurring guest character Mimi, Turk’s new surgical nurse. Her arrival follows staff changes at Sacred Heart, including the departure of charge nurse Raymond, and adds a new supporting character around the returning doctors.
Mejia’s Mimi is described as quirky, sassy, energetic and loyal. Season 2 will also promote Ava Bunn, who plays intern Sam Tosh, to series regular alongside Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke; the series returns to ABC on Wednesday 30 September and will stream on Hulu the following day.
