## Summary

Self Esteem, whose real name is Rebecca Lucy Taylor, has recorded the theme song for Channel 4’s Christmas special *Mog’s Bad Thing*. The collaboration brings her together with composer David Arnold and lyricist Don Black, adding a new song to the latest animated adaptation of Judith Kerr’s much-loved Mog books.

The wistful song is called ‘I Wish That Things Could Be That Way Again’. The special follows the Thomas family as they host a garden cat show, after which Mog hides in the attic following a “bad thing”; returning cast members include Adjoa Andoh, Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy. The article also notes Taylor’s plans to take a break from music promotion and her live album, *A Complicated Woman – Live From Brixton Academy*, due on 4 December.
