Chicago-based, Kyoto-born musician Sen Morimoto has announced a new album, Time Is On Your Side, due out on 23 October via their own label, Sooper Records. It follows 2023's Diagnosis and its 2024 companion EP BONK!, and marks another stylistic shift for an artist known for moving between genres such as jazz and rap.

The lead single, "Overthinker", is an acoustic indie-pop track about being caught up in one's own head, accompanied by a self-directed video of Morimoto playing guitar outdoors. The nine-track album was recorded with Chicago friends and touring band members Kaina Castillo, Ryan Person, Elijah Bradford and Brok Mende, with Morimoto producing.
