Amanda Serrano will defend her unified WBA and WBO featherweight titles against Argentina’s Lucrecia Manzur on 21 August in California. The fight could see Serrano surpass Christy Martin’s women’s boxing record of 32 knockouts, while also marking two broadcasting and format milestones for women’s title boxing.

The 37-year-old Puerto Rican matched the knockout record in May by stopping Cheyenne Hanson in the second round and enters with a record of 49 wins, four defeats and one draw. Manzur, 27, has a 14-4 record with seven knockouts; their bout will be the first unified women’s title fight over 12 two-minute rounds and the first championship boxing event shown on TikTok Live.
