Shakira Scores First-Ever Rhythmic Airplay No. 1 With Burna Boy Collab ‘Dai Dai’
Shakira and Burna Boy have topped Billboard's Rhythmic Airplay chart for the first time with "Dai Dai (FIFA Official World Cup Song 2026)", their collaborative anthem for next year's tournament. The chart-topping run is notable as it gives Shakira her first-ever leader on this particular radio ranking and hands Burna Boy his first No. 1 as a lead artist, while also underlining the crossover pulling power of the World Cup single across US radio formats.
On the chart dated 5 September, "Dai Dai" jumped from No. 3 to No. 1, dethroning Drake's "Shabang" after its two-week reign, based on US rhythm radio airplay data from Luminate for the week of 21-27 August. It is Shakira's 12th entry and only second top 10 on the chart, surpassing her previous peak of No. 5 with "Hips Don't Lie" in 2006, while Burna Boy notches his second Rhythmic Airplay No. 1 overall. The song is also gaining traction at pop radio, helping it climb to No. 28 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart, and continues to dominate globally, holding the top spot on the Billboard Global 200 for a seventh week.
