## Summary

HBO has renewed *Youth* for a second season, bringing Sharon Horgan back as Alex, a literary agent navigating relationships, family responsibilities and midlife upheavals. The renewal was announced less than 24 hours after the first-season finale, which left Alex’s romantic and professional life unresolved.

The eight-part series ends with Alex breaking up with Patrick, then waking after a one-night stand with Malcolm to learn her boss has signed him as a client.
