Sharon Osbourne marked the first anniversary of husband Ozzy Osbourne's death by sharing the advice he gave her for keeping his memory alive. Speaking to the BBC in his hometown of Birmingham, which held its first "Ozzy Day" to mark the occasion, she recalled his instruction to "yank up the music really loud… and just head bang" whenever she wanted to remember him, praising his authenticity and humour.

Ozzy Osbourne, the Black Sabbath frontman known for his wild live performances and later reality-TV fame on The Osbournes, died a year ago aged 76. Sharon said she hoped Birmingham would continue to hold Ozzy Day, calling the city "the home of metal" and Ozzy's birthplace. Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler also paid tribute on Instagram, reflecting on the band's final show together weeks before Ozzy's death and writing "Ozzy forever!"
