Sheff Utd sign Brentford forward Donovan
Sheffield United have secured a season-long loan of Brentford forward Romelle Donovan, a 19-year-old attacker who joined the London club from Birmingham City last year but made only nine competitive appearances. The transfer offers the prospect-heavy forward a chance to develop through consistent playing time with a Championship side.
Manager Chris Wilder welcomed the addition, describing Donovan as an exciting prospect with a bright future. The teenager, who has represented England at under-20 level, could feature in competitive action as early as the EFL Cup first round against Mansfield scheduled for 9 August.
