CBS will launch the football season with America’s Tailgate On CBS, a Nashville-based television special airing on Labour Day, 7 September. The programme combines live music, NFL personalities, food and fan-focused features, reflecting the broadcaster’s effort to turn the start of the season into a wider entertainment event.

Sheryl Crow and John Legend will headline, joined by Chase Rice and Gabby Barrett. The two-hour special begins at 8pm ET on CBS and Paramount+, hosted by Nate Burleson and Melanie Collins, with appearances including NFL MVP Josh Allen, Russell Wilson and Kyle Long; it will also feature chef Keith Corbin and Canadian flag football players Sara Parker and Caroline Moquin-Joubert.
