## Summary

A 21-year-old woman was filmed making racist remarks and monkey gestures towards a Black nightclub bouncer in Rochdale after being asked to move away from the venue. Greater Manchester Police are investigating the reported abuse, and Asda says it dismissed the woman after reviewing the available evidence.

The incident took place outside Ko Ko Lounge last Saturday night, and footage was shared online by the security firm that supplied the venue’s staff. A witness said she tried to intervene and was also abused. The woman’s mother said her daughter knew her actions were wrong, while claiming she had received threats and that the video did not show the whole incident; police have made no arrests.
