Signed: Yoshiki Partners With BMG for Distribution, Virtual Riot Pacts With MLennial for Management

Billboard's "Signed" round-up highlights recent record label, distribution, publishing and management deals across a range of artists and genres, with X Japan frontman Yoshiki's new global partnership with BMG the headline signing. The deal, covering distribution and publishing administration outside Japan via his label Melodee, launches with a live collaboration with Josh Groban and also encompasses his solo album and X Japan's back catalogue from 1993 onwards, marking a significant expansion of his international activities.

Other signings featured include electronic producer Virtual Riot joining management firm MLennial, indie artist Oso Oso signing to the newly formed Feral Twin label for his sixth album, and country singer Chase Wright securing global booking representation with North Loop Agency. Also noted are blues guitarist Mathias Lattin joining Christone "Kingfish" Ingram's new label Red Zero Records, Nashville singer-songwriter Maggie Antone signing to Island Records, and further deals for Kyle Schuesler and the band Snacktime with independent labels.
