Singapore Media Festival Launches Creator Summit as Asia TV Forum Adds AI Zone, Microdrama Focus
The Singapore Media Festival is adding the Asia Creator Summit to its programme, alongside the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF), as the event broadens its focus on creator businesses, artificial intelligence and changing audience habits. The organisers say the expanded programme is intended to help media professionals build creative and commercial capabilities as technologies and viewing patterns change.
The summit runs on Dec. 4–5 at Marina Bay Sands, with more than 20 sessions and speakers including creators Kimpro and Issei, who have over 130 million and 75 million YouTube subscribers respectively. ATF takes place Dec. 1–4, with organisers expecting more than 5,000 industry participants from 60 countries and regions; its new AI programme will address content creation, intellectual property and regulation. The market will also give greater attention to microdramas and add pavilions for Canada and Indonesia.
