Singer DIANA LEAH Exits DELAIN After Making Only One Studio Album With The Band
Diana Leah is leaving Dutch metal band DELAIN after joining in 2022 and recording one studio album with them, 2023’s *Dark Waters*. The band says she is stepping away to pursue other interests and that it will take a new collaborative approach rather than appointing a direct replacement.
Founder and songwriter Martijn Westerholt will continue with core members Ludovico Cioffi, Ronald Landa and Sander Zoer. DELAIN says artists including Marko Hietala and Sharon den Adel will contribute to its upcoming album and live performances; its first single since Leah’s departure is due on 20 October. Leah is focusing on her solo project DYYA, whose debut EP, *Welcome To Nowhere*, is forthcoming.
