Katseye made their Saturday Night Live debut by performing “Animal” and “Hootie Frutti” from their EP Wild. Only four of the six members appeared, as Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza remain on hiatus, with both having cited mental-health concerns; the update highlights the pressures surrounding the group’s rapid rise.

Released in August, Wild also includes “Pinky Up”, “Bel Air” and “That Way”. Formed two years ago through the Dream Academy talent competition, Katseye have since appeared at Coachella and the American Music Awards, and recently began a 31-date Wildworld Tour covering Europe, North America and Mexico. Kelly Rowland has urged the group to prioritise rest, self-care and mutual support.
