Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche has released “Love Is All”, a new track from his forthcoming album Acrobats. He describes the tender, slow-building song as the album’s emotional centrepiece, balancing resignation with hope and culminating in a larger final release.

Lerche said the writing drew on the restrained, patient lyricism of The Blue Nile and the influence of Ryuichi Sakamoto. He recorded the vocals after an all-night outing to give the performance a more strained quality, while Solveig Wang contributes clarinet; Acrobats is due on 21 August via PLZ/Virgin.
