Brand New Day reportedly took $168 million domestically on its opening Friday, with Sony projecting a $325 million weekend total, though some analysts believe it could go even higher. That would put it close to Endgame's domestic opening record of $357 million, and would easily beat No Way Home's $260 million, which had been Sony's previous best opening. No Way Home went on to gross almost $2 billion worldwide, suggesting strong prospects for Brand New Day, which stars Tom Holland alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink and Mark Ruffalo.
