Paltrow invested in OpenAI through Kindred Ventures in 2023 and is reportedly friendly with Charles Porch, OpenAI’s vice-president of global creative partnerships, who helped arrange the event; she responded to criticism with a satirical Instagram post featuring fictional and meme AI-related guests.
