Speedo has launched iQ, a removable smart module for its Vanquisher swimming goggles that tracks performance across freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. The system matters because it offers detailed swim analysis without a built-in display or subscription, and is permitted in World Aquatics competitions.

The module uses swimming-specific sensors to assess head movement, breathing timing and distance per stroke, then sends the results automatically to a companion app after a swim. It can be moved to replacement Vanquisher goggles, and the goggles with the module cost $189 and are available to order in several colours.
