Pratt shared a photo of the encounter on X, showing himself and his son at the Resolute Desk alongside an unidentified man and an individual who appeared to be White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, captioning it, "I will never stop fighting for my community." Trump had endorsed Pratt in May and publicly criticised California's elections. The following day, Pratt announced he was launching The WAR Foundation, a body aimed at combating what it calls political corruption through media campaigns and investigative research, while opposing socialism in government and cultural institutions. The visit came shortly after Pratt drew attention for criticising New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's Fourth of July remarks.
