The devil-like emblem was interpreted by viewers as resembling imagery associated with Mister Negative’s followers, while others linked it to the Punisher. Wood explained that the design was part of the film’s broader visual world rather than a deliberate clue about the character; Mister Negative had previously been a popular theory because he debuted in the comics’ 2008 Brand New Day era.
