- With $1.672 billion worldwide, it ranks 11th all-time and is $26 million away from the top ten
- The film marks a major MCU recovery after several underperforming releases in 2025

## Summary

After its late July release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has demolished numerous box office benchmarks, including the largest opening weekend in domestic history, the biggest opening-week haul ever recorded, and becoming the second-fastest film to reach the $1 billion milestone globally. The film's momentum continued into its second weekend, which ranked third all-time behind only The Force Awakens and Avengers: Endgame.

With a worldwide total of $1.672 billion—split between $654 million domestically and $1.017 billion overseas—the film now stands as the 11th highest-grossing movie of all time, requiring just $26 million more to enter the top ten. This commercial surge represents a significant turnaround for the Marvel Cinematic Universe following a difficult 2025 that saw multiple releases disappoint audiences and analysts.
