However, it lost momentum quickly compared with other Prime Video hits, and its high production costs, from filming both colour and black-and-white versions, likely tipped the cost-versus-performance calculation against renewal. Season one largely wrapped up its story, meaning fans are left with only minor loose ends, and Amazon is reportedly close to greenlighting another series from its Sony partnership.
