Stanley Simmons, the duo formed by Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, have announced their debut album, Dancing While the World Is Ending. Its release has been delayed until 2 October, while the group are also preparing for their first full US tour; the project marks a stylistic departure from the hard rock associated with their fathers’ band, KISS.

The album was previewed by singles including “Body Down”, “Cellophane” and the title track. Evan Stanley is Paul Stanley’s son and Nick Simmons is Gene Simmons’s son; their music instead draws on folk rock, Simon & Garfunkel and 1960s psychedelia. The US tour is scheduled to begin in Dallas on 14 September and end in West Hollywood, California, on 3 November.
